Re: England v Hungary
As I said last night. Mount doesn't deserve his automatic selection. Taking Grealish off for Henderson when you need a goal???
Who the fuck would put Saka on instead of Lingard, fucking ridiculous decision! Saka is too raw and reminds me of Sterling when he was a young headless chicken.

Southgate was exposed last night with some baffling subs.
He tried a different system then panicked when it didn't work and put Henderson on thinking reverting to two DM again would result in a goal.

You should always play your best side and not give players a run out against poor opposition.

Re: England v Hungary
Have to say (sorry, Dec), Mason Mount is stealing a living at international level at the moment.

He was extremely poor in the Euro finals and he was poor again last night. His form for England has not changed and he must, surely, be the first of Southgate's preferred picks to be shown the door for a period.

Sure, England reached the Euros final - and it was a good run that took them there. But Mount contributed very little to it (no goals, no assists from open play). And he has been poor since.

With this many options in England's midfield and attack, he has to be benched for a run of games. Surely?

It's not all on him, of course. But Southgate needs to start tinkering with a decent team that could be improved.

Kane shocking

Sterling and Mount not much better, taking Grealish off was fucking stupid

Passing it sideways and backwards a million times

Lingard would of been better than Mount

Shit result, move on

Its nonsense how pundits praise Grealish for “winning” free kicks.
So now cheating is justified and part of the game.
Wankers.

Back to the actual football...

As others have said, it’s a damning indictment of Southgate that he persists with his favourites for so long into a game when they’re clearly ineffectual.

Also, as everyone has said, taking Grealish off was bonkers. He clearly thought so too.

Sterling and Kane seem untouchable.

I also think Walker is often terrible but I realise he’s picked for his pace and recovery runs but he fucks up a lot.

Finally, the persistence with “point and shout and then spray the ball out of play” Henderson makes me angrier than it should but come on, the bloke’s massively overrated.

How much longer will Easterns be allowed to play up and fuck all is done?
Back to the match,Mounts a player that I highly rated a year or so ago but offers very little and can’t say I’m impressed with shaw thought it was a reckless challenge and a penalty all day long and personally don’t rate him
Hungary to their credit were miles better than I thought they would be so credit to them.
Although I’m obviously biased Southgate’s missed a trick not to consider Antonio.
Rather see our players fit and ready to play for us rather than their countries .
